WordPress development
WordPress work, done properly and kept small.
WordPress can do almost anything, which is how many sites end up with forty plugins and a theme nobody wants to touch. We make the change you need without adding to the pile.
The problem
Most WordPress problems come from layers: a page builder on a theme on a framework, plus plugins to patch what the others do not. Each update risks breaking something nobody remembers adding.
We build custom blocks and templates where they replace plugins, update safely on staging first, and leave the site simpler than we found it where we can.
Sound familiar?
- You need a custom Gutenberg block or ACF field layout for editors.
- Core, theme or plugin updates have been put off because something might break.
- A plugin is slowing the site or conflicting with another.
- A template needs building or changing in a classic or block theme.
- Content editors find the admin confusing and want it simplified.
What you get
- Custom blocks, templates or features built to WordPress coding standards
- Changes tested on staging before going live
- Safe updates with a backup and rollback plan
- A note on plugins that can be removed or replaced
What this isn’t
- Large multisite or enterprise WordPress builds
- Nulled or unlicensed themes and plugins
- Ongoing content entry

Questions
Do you need my WordPress admin password?
No. Create a user account for us once the job is agreed, and delete it when we finish.
Can you work on a page builder site?
Yes, including Elementor and similar builders. Where a builder is causing the problem, we will explain the options.
Will you update everything at once?
No. We update in a sensible order on staging, check the site after each step and only then repeat it on live.
