Website support & maintenance

Website support, without the retainer.

You need someone to call when something small breaks, and someone to keep the site updated. You do not need an open-ended monthly bill for hours you might not use.

The problem

Most support retainers charge for time whether or not anything happens. Unused hours vanish and the contract makes it awkward to leave.

We offer two simple options instead: a pre-paid block of small jobs, each quoted before we start, or scheduled update visits at a fixed price per visit. There is no lock-in, and you can stop at any time.

Sound familiar?

  • Your site needs regular core, plugin or dependency updates.
  • Small change requests come up every month or two.
  • Your previous developer or agency has stepped away.
  • You want a known contact for small problems without a monthly contract.

What you get

  • Scheduled update visits: backups, updates on staging, checks, then live
  • Or a pre-paid block of small jobs, each quoted and approved before work starts
  • A short report after each visit or job
  • Uptime and error alerts set up in your own accounts, if you want them

What this isn’t

  • Open-ended hourly retainers
  • Guaranteed around-the-clock response times
  • Lock-in contracts or minimum terms

Price

Scheduled update visits from $250 each. Pre-paid blocks of small jobs usually between $500 and $2,000.

How the job runs

  1. 01

    Describe what is stuck

Answer a few questions in the scoping agent. It takes about three minutes and turns your answers into a plain-English brief.

  2. 02

    Get a straight answer

Within one business day, a developer replies with a fixed price, a paid diagnostic, one question, or an honest “not us” and a referral.

  3. 03

    We fix it

Work starts when you approve. You get the fix, a short note on what changed and the access handed back.

Questions

Is this a retainer?

No. You pay for scheduled visits or a block of quoted jobs up front. There are no minimum terms and you can stop at any time.

What happens to unused credit in a block?

It stays available for future small jobs, and the agreed terms say how any unused balance is handled if you stop.

How fast do you respond?

Usually within one business day. Urgent outages are flagged and looked at first, but we do not offer around-the-clock guarantees.
