Education
Clear for parents. Simple for staff. Careful with student data.
Schools and training providers need websites that staff can update and families can actually use. We fix the forms, integrations and pages that get in the way.
The problem
Education websites are often edited by many people with little time. Pages multiply, PDFs pile up and enrolment information ends up in three different places. Forms collect more personal detail than they need, then email it around in plain text.
Course and training providers have a different version of the same problem: the marketing site, the payment step and the learning platform were set up separately and do not talk to each other. Students pay and then wait for someone to enrol them by hand. We connect those pieces and tidy up how information is collected.
What we watch for
- Information about children and students is collected minimally and not sent around in plain email
- Photos and names of students only appear where you have confirmed consent
- Accessibility, because families, staff and students use every kind of device and assistive technology
- Enrolment periods and term starts, when forms and payment must not break
- Child safety and privacy obligations — we build carefully, you confirm requirements with your advisers

How much does it cost to fix a school or training provider website in Australia?
Most defined fixes on school and training provider websites cost $250 to $3,000 AUD, quoted at a fixed price before work starts. WordPress fixes start from $250. Accessibility audits of key flows start from $750, with most audit-and-fix jobs between $750 and $4,000. Connecting payment to a learning platform typically costs $600 to $3,500. A small site of up to five pages is typically $2,500 to $4,000. A full school website rebuild with many sections and editors is usually bigger than us, and we’ll say so.
Can you connect our payment page to our LMS so students enrol automatically?
Often, yes, if the learning platform has an API or a supported integration. Moodle, Canvas, LearnDash, Teachable and Thinkific each handle this differently, and some options depend on your plan or hosting. The usual pattern is a successful Stripe payment creating or updating the student’s account and enrolling them in the right course, with a clear alert if any step fails. We confirm what’s possible with your setup before quoting. Most integrations take 3 to 10 business days once API access is confirmed.
Does our school website need to meet WCAG accessibility standards?
Very likely, and your advisers should confirm exactly what applies to you. Education providers may have obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education, and WCAG is the usual technical benchmark; government schools may also have state requirements. We test key pages and flows, such as enrolment forms, course pages and documents, against WCAG 2.2 using keyboard, screen reader and mobile checks, then fix what we find. Audits of key flows start from $750 and take 3 to 5 business days, with fixes usually 1 to 2 weeks.
How should a school website handle student and parent information?
Collect only what you need, deliver it securely, and stop emailing forms full of personal details around in plain text. Enrolment and enquiry forms often ask for medical, custody or ID details well before they’re needed. We rebuild forms to collect the minimum, deliver entries to a secure place such as your existing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and limit who can see them. We don’t need access to student records to do this. The Privacy Act, state privacy laws and the upcoming Children’s Online Privacy Code may apply, so confirm with your advisers.
What does an RTO website need to show under ASQA rules?
RTO marketing, including your website, must be accurate and not misleading, and generally needs to identify the RTO, including its registration code, with conditions on using course codes and the Nationally Recognised Training logo. The detail sits in ASQA’s 2025 Standards and related policies, so your compliance adviser should confirm what applies. What we can do is structure course pages so codes, fees, entry requirements and delivery details come from one place in the CMS and update correctly across every page when something changes.
Should we replace the PDFs on our school website with web pages?
For key documents people use often, yes. Handbooks, term dates, uniform lists, policies and fee schedules are easier to find, read on a phone and keep current as web pages. They’re usually more accessible, searchable on Google and easier for AI assistants to quote correctly. PDFs still suit forms people print and official documents that must stay fixed. We convert the documents that matter most, set them up so staff can edit them in the CMS, and redirect old PDF links so nothing breaks.
How do we get our school or courses to show up on Google?
Make each campus and course clear, consistent and readable by search engines. That means a complete Google Business Profile for each campus, course pages with plain-text dates, fees, location and outcomes, and the same details everywhere they appear. We add schema such as School, EducationalOrganization or Course where it fits, fix titles, broken links and slow pages, and tidy up the duplicate and outdated pages left by years of editing. Nobody can promise rankings. Technical SEO audits start from $600, with fixes usually done in 1 to 2 weeks.
Will ChatGPT recommend our school or training courses?
No one can guarantee that, but you can make sure AI assistants have accurate information to work from. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers read public sources, so outdated fees on a forgotten page or term dates buried in an old PDF can end up in their answers. Clear, current course and enrolment pages in plain text, with old pages removed or redirected, are the most useful fix. We can audit the site for outdated and conflicting information and clean it up. We don’t sell AI ranking packages.
Our school website is hard for staff to update. Do we need a new one?
Not always. Often the problem is structure rather than the platform: pages nobody owns, content duplicated in several places, and templates that make simple updates fiddly. We can restructure course listings, news and key pages in your existing WordPress or other CMS so staff edit one place and it shows everywhere it should. A rebuild makes sense when the platform is unsupported or nobody can access it. Most WordPress jobs land between $250 and $3,000. A large rebuild with many sections, editors and approval workflows is bigger than us.
Do you need admin access to our school systems, and who owns the work?
No passwords, and only the access the job needs. Once a job is agreed, you invite us as a user on the website, CMS or LMS, or create an API key, and remove that access when we’re done. The website, domain and accounts stay in your organisation’s name, and the work stays in your accounts. We don’t manage student information systems, run your IT network, give child safety or privacy compliance advice, or take on open-ended retainers. For those, talk to your IT provider or advisers.
