Fashion
Make the store as considered as the collection.
Fashion sites need to look sharp and sell fast. When the imagery slows the store down or a drop goes sideways, we fix the build without flattening the brand.
The problem
Fashion stores push platforms harder than most. Many sizes and colours per product, large editorial images, and short drop windows where everyone arrives at once. Themes that look good in a demo struggle with real collections, and size variants get out of sync with stock.
Design matters, so the temptation is to add another app for every visual idea. That is how a store ends up slow and fragile. We build what is needed into the theme properly, keep images sharp but light, and test before the drop, not during it.
What we watch for
- Image weight: editorial photography should look sharp without slowing the store
- Drop days and sales, when traffic spikes and changes should already be tested
- Variant limits and stock accuracy across sizes and colours
- Theme updates and app conflicts that break custom design work
- Mobile first, because most fashion browsing happens on a phone

Fashion / Straight answers
Before you ask.
How much does it cost to fix or customise a Shopify store for a fashion label?
Most fashion store jobs with us cost between $250 and $3,500 AUD, priced before work starts. A defined fix on Shopify or WooCommerce starts from $250. A custom theme section, such as a lookbook layout or size guide, starts from $400, and most Shopify builds land between $400 and $3,500. Speed work usually runs $500 to $2,500. We quote from a written list of what you want changed, so you know the price before anything is touched.
How long does it take to get a fashion store ready for a new collection or drop?
Most Shopify jobs take 2 to 7 business days, so book at least a couple of weeks before the drop. That leaves time to build, test and fix anything we find. Before a release we check stock and variant data, discount codes, waitlist or back-in-stock apps, page weight and the checkout on real phones. Changes are finished and tested before launch day, not made while customers are arriving.
Can you build from our designer’s Figma file?
Yes, we build custom sections into your theme directly from Figma. Before starting we flag anything that will be slow, hard for your team to edit, or likely to break on a theme update, and suggest a lighter way to get the same look. Sections are set up so staff can swap images, products and copy in the Shopify theme editor without a developer.
Can you stop our Shopify store crashing or slowing down on drop day?
We can find and fix the usual causes on your side, but nobody can control a platform-level outage. The common culprits are heavy images, too many app scripts loading on every page, fragile custom code and countdown or queue tools that were never load tested. We trim those back, test the product and checkout path before launch, and give you a short list of what not to change on the day.
Why is my fashion website slow on mobile, and can you fix it without making the photos look worse?
Usually yes, because slow fashion sites are mostly caused by oversized images and app scripts, not by the photography itself. We serve images at the right size for each screen, use modern formats, load below-the-fold images later and remove scripts that are not earning their place. The aim is pictures that still look sharp on a phone. Performance jobs usually cost $500 to $2,500 and take 3 to 10 business days.
How do I fix size and colour variants that show the wrong stock or sell out of sync?
Start by finding where the variant data goes wrong: the product setup, the theme, or an app or inventory sync writing over it. We check how sizes and colours are structured, how the theme displays sold-out options, and whether a stock or POS sync is the real cause. Then we fix the display so customers cannot add an unavailable size. Shopify has variant limits per product, so very large ranges sometimes need a different structure.
Can you connect Klaviyo, Afterpay or Instagram Shopping to our store?
Usually, yes, through each platform’s official app or integration where it supports your setup. We install or repair the connection, check that sign-up forms, back-in-stock alerts and payment options display properly, and test them on mobile. Email sign-ups should collect clear consent, because the Spam Act applies to marketing emails and SMS. What your consent wording needs to say is for you to confirm. Most integration work lands between $600 and $3,500.
How do I get my fashion brand found on Google and in AI shopping answers?
Make sure search engines and AI tools can read your products clearly, because nobody can promise rankings or that ChatGPT will recommend you. We check that product pages have unique titles and descriptions, product schema with price and availability, clean collection URLs, a working sitemap and no duplicate variant pages. Lookbooks should link to real product pages, not just images. Technical SEO audits start from $600. Content, ads and influencer work are outside what we do.
Do we need a headless build or a full redesign, or can our current theme be fixed?
Most labels do not need headless, and most stores can be fixed rather than rebuilt. A well-built Shopify theme with fewer apps is often enough. We will say plainly if your theme is past saving or if headless would genuinely help, for example with very complex content or several storefronts. If you are unsure, a headless audit starts from $750. A full rebuild of a large catalogue is bigger than us.
Do you need our Shopify password, and who owns the work afterwards?
No, we never ask for passwords; you add us as a staff or collaborator account and remove us when the job is done. All work stays in your Shopify store or code repository, and you own it. We work on a copy of the theme and publish only once you approve. We do not do photography, brand design, marketing retainers or open-ended ongoing development. Each job is defined and priced up front.
